Netflix unveils character stills from director Yeon Sang Ho's upcoming K-movie Revelations, featuring Ryu Jun YeolShin Hyun Been, and Shin Min Jae

Revelations tells the story of Pastor Sung Min Chan (Ryu Jun Yeol), who believes God has given him a divine revelation to sentence the culprit of a missing person case, and Detective Lee Yeon Hee (Shin Hyun Been) haunted by the apparition of her deceased sister, as they each pursue their own beliefs.

The stills capture the tense moments of Pastor Sung Min Chan (Ryu Jun Yeol), Detective Lee Yeon Hee (Shin Hyun Been), and ex-convict Kwon Yang Rae (Shin Min Jae), who is suspected as a potential culprit, as they follow conflicting paths driven by their differing beliefs in the case of a young congregation member who mysteriously vanished without a trace.

Ryu Jun Yeol stated, "To express the inner complex emotions, I aimed to portray the most primal desires and aspirations of a human being."

Shin Hyun Been shared, "I put a lot of effort into maintaining balance so that the character's multidimensional aspects could be portrayed in a balanced way."

Shin Min Jae, collaborating with director Yeon Sang Ho for the fourth time, shared, "I was deeply intrigued by a character I had never played before, and I put a lot of effort into shaping Kwon Yang Rae's appearance to highlight his unique traits so that his presence alone makes a strong impact."

Director Yeon Sang Ho also shared his thoughts, stating, "The actors' performances were more crucial in this production than in any other. My goal as a director was to ensure that each and every actor could fully express everything they had prepared for their character."
