Yeom Jung Ah takes on the role of Kim Se Hee, the director of a major hospital and operator of a charity foundation. While she appears as a respected celebrity doctor on the outside, she actually leads an illegal adoption organization, driven by a twisted belief that only superior genes should survive.
Won Jin A plays the role of Kim Ah Hyun, who was returned after being adopted but managed to survive against all odds. As the leader and pillar of emotional support for the surviving children, Ah Hyun engages in a desperate struggle for revenge and survival, only to confront an unexpected truth.
Choi Young Joon portrays Woo Tae Sik, a subordinate of the illegal adoption organization who secretly rescues and protects the returned children. Stricken with guilt over being involved in disposing of the children, he shelters them and teaches them survival skills.
Rising star Kim Jin Young, aka DEX, takes on the role of Jung Hyun, a human weapon raised by Kim Se Hee and the actual operator of the illegal adoption trafficking organization. Jung Hyun strictly obeys Se Hee's orders and basically runs the organization.
Yeom Jung Ah shared, "Everyone was so well-prepared that I felt all I needed to do was focus on my part." "It's a work that blends action and thrill, so I ask for a lot of love and interest."
Won Jin A commented, "I think this drama will offer a lot to reflect on regarding its message. Everyone is working hard, so I hope viewers will enjoy it."
