Kang Na Eon transforms into a high school student in Lee Min Ki and Lee Bo Young's upcoming K-drama
Choi Jin Hyuk and Oh Yeon Seo are possibly teaming up for a new webtoon-based K-drama.
On June 16, media outlets reported that Choi Jin Hyuk and Oh Yeon Seo are the main leads of the upcoming K-drama Positively Yours.
Choi Jin Hyuk's agency responded to the casting reports. According to them, "Choi Jin Hyuk did receive the offer and he is positively reviewing it." Meanwhile, reports stated that Oh Yeon Seo's side is also discussing it positively and is trying to adjust her schedule.
Positively Yours will tell the story of a woman who becomes pregnant after a one-night affair with a stranger. The father's baby happened to be the company's chairman, and he demanded marriage. The story will be depicted from the webtoon of the same name, which is not only popular in Korea but also overseas.
Instead of the school setting of the original webtoon, the K-drama will use the large company setting to show a more colorful story.
The premiere date as well as the broadcast channel of Positively Yours are still under discussion.
Oh Yeon Seo received an offer to portray the role of Jang Hee Won. Jang Hee Won is a woman who has given up on the idea of marriage and pregnancy. She worked day and night, even on weekends, and with this hard work, she was promoted rapidly in the company. However, after a one-night affair, she became pregnant and later realized that the father of the baby was the CEO of the company.
Before Oh Yeo Seo appears as Jang Hee Won, she will first return to K-dramas through the upcoming series Mean Love, which will premiere later this year. She will work alongside Lee Jung Jae, Im Ji Yeon, Kim Ji Hoon, Seo Ji Hye, and Kim Hyun Jin.
Choi Jin Hyuk on the other hand got the offer to play the role of Kang Doo Joon, the CEO and father of Jang Hee Won's baby.
This will possibly be Choi Jin Hyuk's follow-up K-drama after the 2024 series Miss Night and Day. He showed great chemistry with co-actors APINK's Jung Eun Ji, Lee Jung Eun, Baek Seo Hoo, Yoon Byung Hee, and Moon Ye Won in the series.
