Park Shin Hye and Go Kyung Pyo will reportedly reunite in a new office comedy K-drama.
On May 23, media outlets reported that Go Kyung Pyo has been chosen to be Park Shin Hye's male lead in the upcoming tvN K-drama Miss Undercover Boss.
Miss Undercover Boss is an office comedy K-drama genre set before the 1997 IMF crisis began. It will tell the story of Hong Geum Bo, a highly skilled securities supervisor who takes on an undercover assignment as a high school graduate employee within a Yeouido securities firm.
Park Shin Hye will reportedly portray the role of Hong Geum Bo, a 35-year-old skilled securities supervisor who prefers to work alone.
Go Kyung Pyo got the offer to portray the role of Shin Jung Woo, the newly appointed CEO of Hanmin Securities in Yeouido.
The upcoming K-drama will be the joint work of director Park Seon Ho (Business Proposal, Suspicious Partner, and Birth of a Beauty) and writer Moon Hyun Kyung (Into the Ring).
Miss Undercover Boss will reportedly premiere in 2026, and it will exclusively air on tvN.
If Park Shin Hye and Go Kyung Pyo confirm their casting, this will be their reunion after 13 years. The two worked together in the 2013 K-drama Flower Boy Next Door alongside Yoon Shi Yoon, Kim Ji Hoon, Park Su Jin, and Kim Yoon Hye.
Miss Undercover Boss may also be the comeback K-drama of Park Shin Hye after The Judge from Hell.
This may also be Go Kyung Pyo's return to the K-drama scene after two years. He was last seen in the romantic comedy K-drama Frankly Speaking with Kang Han Na, Joo Jong Hyuk, Shin Jung Keun, Kang Ae Sim, and Hwang Sung Bin.
