Ha Jung Woo and Son Suk Ku are reportedly the main leads of the upcoming K-drama titled Ordinary People.

On July 6, media outlets reported that Ha Jung Woo and Son Suk Ku will work together in the upcoming K-drama Ordinary People, which will be directed by Yoon Jong Bin

Ordinary People is set during the era of the Roh Tae Woo administration. Other than its historical background, the characters and the plot of the upcoming K-drama are still not revealed. According to reports, the K-drama will begin filming next year. 

If Ha Jung Woo confirms his casting, this will be his reunion with director Yoon Jong Bin. They last worked in the Netflix original K-drama Narco-Saints. This will also possibly be the reunion of Son Suk Ku and the director. They worked together this year through the Disney+ K-drama Nine Puzzles

Director Yoon Jong Bin, who will take charge of Ordinary People, is known for creating the works The Match, The Spy Gone North, Nameless Gangster: Rules of Time, The Unforgiven, and more. 

According to reports, Ordinary People is already in the planning stages and will cast the main and supporting leads soon. Meanwhile, the release date of the K-drama is still under discussion. 

Last April, Ha Jung Woo directed and led the film Lobby. He worked alongside Kim Eui Sung, Kang Hae Lim, Lee Dong Hwi, Park Byung Eun, and Kang Mal Geum. He will also direct and lead the upcoming movie People Upstairs, wherein he will join hands with Gong Hyo Jin, Lee Ha Nee, and Kim Dong Wook. Next year, Ha Jung Woo will return to the small screen with the upcoming series How to Become a Building Owner in Korea

Meanwhile, Ordinary People will possibly be Son Suk Ku's follow-up project after Nine Puzzles. The actor is best known for starring in the works Heavenly Ever After, A Killer Paradox, Big Bet, My Liberation Notes, D.P., Night Fishing, The Roundup, Nothing Serious, and more.
