Han Hyo Joo will reportedly lead a new K-drama by the Undercover High School director.

On July 12, media outlets reported that Han Hyo Joo has been chosen to lead the new youth romance K-drama titled Your Ground (working title). Han Hyo Joo's side hasn't responded to the casting reports.

Your Ground will revolve around a baseball player whose career was stopped because of a setback. He restarts his journey to the ground after meeting a lawyer turned agent.

The upcoming K-drama will reportedly be the next work of director Choi Jung In, who is known for creating the K-dramas Undercover High School, Knight Flower, and On the Verge of Insanity. The script will be penned by writer Hang Hae Yeon. The K-drama will reportedly be produced by Studio S.

Han Hyo Joo got the offer to portray the role of Seo Hee Seung. She works as a lawyer and an agent of a large law firm. She is a character who knows her own abilities, has a relaxed attitude, and possesses a strong desire to win.

The premiere date and broadcast channel of Your Ground are still under discussion. There are also no reports yet on which actors will join Han Hyo Joo.

If Han Hyo Joo confirms her casting, this will be her follow-up work after the Japanese Netflix series Romantics Anonymous with Oguri Shun, Akanishi Jin, Nakamura Yuri, and Song Joong Ki. The series will premiere before the year ends.

Han Hyo Joo led last year's K-drama Blood Free with Ju Ji Hoon, Lee Hee Joon, Lee Moo Saeng, Park Ji Yeon, and Jeon Seok Ho

The actress is best known for leading the K-dramas Moving, Happiness, W, Shining Inheritance, Iljimae, Spring Waltz, and more.
