Hwang In Youp and Lee You Mi are in discussion to lead a new romantic comedy K-drama by The Beauty Inside writer.
On June 9, media outlets reported that Hwang In Youp and Lee You Mi will be the main leads of the upcoming K-drama I Give It to You. According to reports, the K-drama will begin filming after the casting and schedules are finalized.
Hwang In Youp and Lee You Mi's respective agencies haven't responded to the casting news.
I Give It to You is a romantic comedy K-drama that will showcase the journey of a reporter in her 30s and a successful film director who discover love after dedicating years to chasing their dreams.
Hwang In Youp got the offer to portray the role of Woo Su Bin, a successful film director. His parents controlled his life throughout his teens, but he broke free in his twenties to pursue and ultimately achieve his dream by his thirties.
Lee You Mi will reportedly portray the role of Lee Jae, a reporter in her thirties who once had a fearless teenage dream but then faced the harsh reality in her twenties, leading her to feel like she's fully become an adult.
This will be the next work of writer Jung Eun Bi, who also worked on The Beauty Inside.

In 2025, Hwang In Youp will greet viewers through his special cameo appearance in the upcoming K-drama Dear X, led by Kim You Jung, Kim Young Dae, Kim Do Hoon, Lee Yeol Eum, Kim Yoo Mi, and Hong Jong Hyun.
Hwang In Youp's last K-drama project was the series Family by Choice with Jung Chae Yeon, Bae Hyeon Seong, Seo Ji Hye, Choi Won Young, and Choi Moo Sung.
Meanwhile, Lee You Mi is set to lead the upcoming K-drama As You Stood By alongside Jeon So Nee, Jang Seung Jo, Lee Moo Saeng, and Kwak Na Gyeol.
The actress is best known for being part of the hit K-dramas Mr. Plankton, Strong Girl Namsoon, All of Us Are Dead, and Squid Game.
