Law and the City unveils Im Sung Jae's stills.
Law and the City is a story about the joys, sorrows, and growth of five associate lawyers who work at law firms located in the Seocho Judicial Town.
In the K-drama, Im Sung Jae plays Ha Sang Gi, an associate lawyer who works at Hojeon Law Office. Bae Mun Jeong (Ryu Hye Young) calls him Grandpa because he uses a blog instead of SNS. Ha Sang Gi works tirelessly, and when he's on the verge of collapse from exhaustion, he receives therapy in the form of his monthly salary deposited into his bank account.
He greets his clients with the kindest smile and takes the lead in consultations. He also runs a restaurant blog to receive sponsored meals — living a double life as a lawyer and a blogger. As such, curiosity builds around Ha Sang Gi's busy life, where 24 hours aren't enough to juggle his job as a lawyer and his side hustle as a food blogger.
The stills capture Ha Sang Gi seamlessly switching between his two roles. In court, he appears as a trustworthy lawyer, while during his precious lunch break, he is focused on photographing food — a dedicated food blogger. This piques curiosity about his food blog, "The Lawyer's Dining Table".
Law and the City premieres on July 5. The K-drama will be available on Disney+ (select regions).
