Kang Na Eon transforms into a high school student in Lee Min Ki and Lee Bo Young's upcoming K-drama
Actress Ji Ga Eun's third K-drama project for 2025 will be Hunter with a Scalpel.
On June 13, it was officially confirmed that Ji Ga Eun is joining main leads Kang Hoon, Park Ju Hyun, and Park Yong Woo in the upcoming novel-based U+ Mobile TV K-drama Hunter with a Scalpel.
This will be her follow-up work after making a special cameo appearance in the series The Art of Negotiation, led by Lee Je Hoon, Kim Dae Myung, Sung Dong Il, Jang Hyun Sung, Oh Man Seok, and Ahn Hyun Ho.
She also starred in the romantic comedy series The Potato Lab with Lee Sun Bin, Kang Tae Oh, Lee Hak Joo, Kim Ga Eun, Shin Hyun Seung, and Jung Shin Hye.
Ji Ga Eun started her acting career in 2023 through the hit K-drama My Dearest Part 2. Since then, she has appeared in several K-dramas such as The Midnight Romance in Hagwon, Love Your Enemy, and more.
Hunter with a Scalpel is a crime thriller K-drama that follows the story of a forensic pathologist with antisocial personality disorder. While performing an autopsy on a dead body, she discovers traces of his father's murder. She will then try to catch her father first before the police so that she can conceal her dark past. The story will be depicted from the novel of the same name by Choi Yi Do.
The upcoming K-drama will be the next work of director Lee Jung Hoon ( Shh, Please Take Care of Him, Miss Ma, Nemesis, and Longing Heart) and writers Cho Han Young, Park Hyun Shin, Hong Yeon I, and Jin Se Hyuk.
Jin Ga Eun will give life to the character named Chu Soo Yeon. She works as a legal investigator at the Seoul Institute of Scientific Investigation. She will silently stand by Seo Se Hyeon (Park Ju Hyun) and help her in the face of adversity.
Hunter with a Scalpel will begin airing on June 16. It will exclusively premiere on the streaming platform U+ Mobile TV. The K-drama will have a total of 16 episodes.
