The Chinese historical mystery drama Coroner's Diary has been confirmed to release on July 16.

This series is adapted from the Chinese novel "The Powerful and Favored Coroner Imperial Concubine" (权宠之仵作医妃) by Bu Yue Qian Zhuang. It tells the story of Qin Wan, daughter of a high-ranking official of the Supreme Court, who uses her exceptional medical skills and forensic expertise to join forces with Yan Chi, the crown prince of King Rui, in solving mysterious cases and uncovering the true culprits, ultimately clearing her father's wrongful conviction.

Shen Yi, a high-ranking official of the Supreme Court, is implicated in the Prince Jin case, which leads to the tragic extermination of his entire family. His daughter, Shen Wan, assumes the identity of Qin Wan, the Ninth Lady of the Qin family, and escapes to Jingzhou.

Once perceived as timid and easily bullied, Qin Wan undergoes a drastic change in temperament. Now, she's not only skilled in healing people and saving lives but also performs autopsies and investigates cases, all while managing to put her scheming aunt, stepsister, stepmother, and cunning servants in their place.

During her investigations, Qin Wan meets Yan Chi, the crown prince of King Rui. Devoted to overturning the Prince Jin Case, Yan Chi shares the same goal as Qin Wan — to clear her father's name. The two return to the capital together, solving a series of bizarre and complex cases along the way.

After returning to the capital, the discovery of a skeleton leads to the reopening of the Prince Jin Case. Yan Chi and Qin Wan gradually near the truth, uncovering a shocking secret buried deep within the imperial palace.

Landy Li plays Qin Wan, and Ao Rui Peng plays Yan Chi. Joining them are Yu Cheng En as Yan Li, Shen Yu Jie as Yue Ning, Deng Ying as Madame Yan, and Zhao Bin as Shen Yi.
