On June 12, Disney+ announced that tvN's new Saturday-Sunday K-drama Law and the City will be available to stream on its OTT starting July 5.
Law and the City is a story about the joys, sorrows, and growth of five associate lawyers who work at law firms located in the Seocho Judicial Town.
The K-drama's production team also released stills featuring Ryu Hye Young. The actress plays Bae Mun Jeong, an associate attorney at Kyungmin Law Firm.
Having failed the bar ethics exam — which boasts a 99.9% pass rate — she became a lawyer one year later than her peers. A warm-hearted lawyer, she is occasionally harsh but is, at heart, full of compassion for others. As the de facto leader of the group, she has a fiery personality and dives headfirst into any bet like a moth rushes to a flame.
If there's one thing that Bae Mun Jeong — who is rarely seen doing anything with great enthusiasm, whether it's reading webtoons or dozing off on the couch — is truly passionate about, it is none other than searching for good restaurants and having lunch.
The stills capture Bae Mun Jeong's hectic and relatable office life. Inside an office packed with piles of documents, she is seen crawling along with a phone in her hand, evoking memories in viewers of the days when we sneak into the office, trying to avoid gazes after arriving late.
Next, stills show her consulting with clients with a bright smile and relieving her fatigue with a cup of coffee.
Law and the City premieres on July 5. The K-drama will be available on Disney+ (select regions).
