Law and the City unveils new stills.

Law and the City is a story about the joys, sorrows, and growth of five associate lawyers who work at law firms located in the Seocho Judicial Town.

In the K-drama, associate lawyers Ahn Joo Hyung (Lee Jong Suk), Kang Hee Ji (Mun Ka Young), Cho Chang Won (Kang You Seok), Bae Moon Jung (Ryu Hye Young), and Ha Sang Gi (Im Sung Jae) work at different law firms located on different floors of the Hyungmin Building in Seocho Judicial Town. Though each faces intense pressure at work, they come together at lunchtime, clinking spoons over a shared meal to unwind. Ahead of their day on the job in Seocho-dong, the stills offer a glimpse into the tightly knit relationships of these five associates.

In a world of associates where job-hopping and starting one's own practice is common, Ahn Joo Hyung has stayed with the same firm for nine years. With his solid track record and exceptional skills, he has become the go-to person for all the lawyers in the Hyungmin Building whenever an issue arises.

Kang Hee Ji, who has just started her career as an associate lawyer, also goes straight to Ahn Joo Hyung whenever she has a question. Known for her confidence and honesty, Hee Ji has a way of disarming those around her.

In the stills, we get a sneak peek at the group gathering for mealtime. Led by Bae Moon Jung, the self-proclaimed "meal leader" who takes restaurant hunting seriously, the group sits down at restaurants and work smoothly, setting utensils and placing orders in perfect sync, often without saying a word.

As they eat, they begin to share snippets of their daily lives in casual conversations — ranging from personal concerns to how their day is going. From the stress of dealing with clients and conflicts with bosses to more private matters like family issues, their table talk is as varied and colorful as the menu itself.

What's more to look forward to are the dynamics between Cho Chang Won, known for his nonstop chatter, and Ha Sang Gi, the only one who actually listens to him.

Then there's Bae Moon Jung, who always rushes to make a bet, and the four others who constantly have to rein her in. With each one bringing their own unique personality to the mix, their witty back-and-forth banter adds extra charm. Like the clinking of spoons at their lunch table, their lively chatter adds a spark of joy to their lives.

Law and the City premieres on July 5. The K-drama will be available on Disney+ (select regions).
