Disney+ original series Low Life has released new character stills.

Set against the backdrop of 1977 Korea, Low Life follows country people who gather to seize treasure from a sunken ship.

In the K-drama, Kim Eui Sung transforms into Professor Kim, a cunning antique scammer from Busan. Kim Sung Oh takes on the role of Im Jeon Chul, a chauffeur for Heungbaek Industries. Jang Gwang takes on the role of Chun Hwang Sik, the chairman of Heungbaek Industries and the major financial lifeline of the treasure hunt. Kim Jong Soo comes as Boss Song, an antique appraiser. Lee Dong Hwi plays police officer Shim Hong Gi. Im Hyung Joon will be seen as Go Seok Bae, a veteran deep-sea diver.

U-Know takes on the role of Jang Beol Gu, a Mokpo gangster who shows off a lot. He is a hot-tempered character who uses his fists before his words. The actor commented, "The series realistically captures even those moments that make you think, 'Can a person really go to such extremes?'"

Lee Sang Jin takes on the role of the clumsy countryman Na Dae Sik, beloved by Mokpo's big figure, Boss Song (Kim Jong Soo). Lee Sang Jin remarked, "I figured Na Dae Sik shouldn't come across as just good and kind, so I thought about what kind of dark side he could express."

Kim Min makes her debut through Low Life, with the role of Seon Ja, a café waitress dreaming of escaping to Seoul. It is also reported that Seon Ja is the only good character in the series. Kim Min shared, "The first thing I did every morning was play videos featuring the Jeolla dialect."

Low Life will release 3 episodes on July 16, followed by 2 episodes each on July 23, July 30, August 6, and August 13, for a total of 11 episodes, only on Disney+.
