Salon De Holmes is a comedy that follows a group of four women who join forces to become the problem-solvers of their apartment complex and take down the villains.
Nam Gi Ae transforms into Jeon Ji Hyeon, a former insurance queen and current CEO of Gwangseon Mart in the drama.
A former insurance queen, Jeon Ji Hyeon is a character who never misses her target. She is the neighborhood's insider who knows every rumor that circulates the apartment complex.
Wearing sunglasses with her hands in her pockets, Jeon Ji Hyeon appears to be heading straight into enemy territory, piquing curiosity about what follows next. On the other hand, as the CEO of Gwangseon Mart, she displays a completely different demeanor. Seen chatting warmly with customers and handing out treats to children with a bright smile, her sociability shines through.
The production team of Salon De Holmes stated, "Nam Gi Ae is set to showcase a chameleon-like [versatile] charm, portraying everything, from the tenacious side of her character Jeon Ji Hyeon to her lovable, girlish characteristics."
They added, "With a distinct aura stemming from her past as an insurance queen and her current role as CEO of Gwangseon Mart, she will portray a neighborhood informant who's in the know about all the major gossip in town. Please look forward to Nam Gi Ae's performance, as she comes to deliver both laughter and thrill."
The production team also released a teaser. It begins with a news report that states, "It's been reported that housewives played a major role in solving the case." This is followed by scenes showing Kong Mi Ri (Lee Si Young) and Chu Gyeong Ja (Jung Young Joo) in fierce fights.
Kong Mi Ri, the Sherlock Holmes of Gwangseon Jugong Apartments, employs her detective instincts even while cleaning, matching pieces of a torn receipt, and sharply analyzing CCTV footage.
In addition, "Female Ma Dong Seok" Chu Gyeong Ja relentlessly pursues someone and flashes a camera in front of someone, exclaiming, "Caught you, you pervert!" Meanwhile, the queen of part-time jobs, Park So Hui (Kim Da Som), races through the apartment complex on a motorcycle, and former insurance queen and current Gwangseon Mart CEO Jeon Ji Hyeon comes perfectly disguised.
The teaser ends with the four women — Kong Mi Ri, Chu Gyeong Ja, Park So Hui, and Jeon Ji Hyeon — striding with confidence, their trench coats billowing like capes in the wind.
