Actress Shim Eun Kyung will reportedly join the upcoming K-drama How to Become a Building Owner in Korea.

On June 16, media outlet OSEN shared an exclusive report stating that actress Shim Eun Kyung's first K-drama project for 2026 will be alongside Ha Jung Woo and Lim Soo Jung. According to reports, Shim Eun Kyung will be one of the main leads of the upcoming K-drama How to Become a Building Owner in Korea

Shim Eun Kyung's side hasn't responded yet to the casting reports. 

The actress made a grand comeback to the small screen this year. She was part of the cast of the K-drama Way Back Love led by Gong Myung, Kim Min Ha, Jung Gun Joo, Oh Woo Ri, Ko Chang Seok, and Seo Young Hee

Shim Eun Kyung started her acting career in 2003. She is known for starring in the K-dramas Money Game, Naeil's Cantabile, Bad Guy, The Great Merchant, Hwang Jin Yi, The Woman Who Wants to Marry, and more. 

Aside from K-dramas, Shim Eun Kyung is also set to star in the upcoming films Starlight Is Falling and Day and Night to Each Other

How to Become a Building Owner in Korea will tell the journey of a building owner struggling with big debt. To protect his family and his building, which are more precious than his life, he decided to participate in a crime. Fake kidnapping unfolds the narrative of real kidnapping.

The upcoming K-drama will be the next work of Im Pil Sung, who also created the works Departure, Sun, Scarlet Innocence, Persona, and the upcoming K-drama Bastard
