
Shin Hye Sun and Gong Myung will reportedly lead the upcoming K-drama Secret Gratitude.
On June 4, media outlets reported that Shin Hye Sun and Gong Myung will team up to lead the rated 29+ romantic comedy K-drama Secret Gratitude. According to reports, Shin Hye Sun is positively considering the offer to lead the series.
Secret Gratitude will showcase the romance between the former ace of the audit department, who got demoted, and the audit head director with a secret. The two will begin to monitor and investigate the scandalous relationships unfolding across the company.
Shin Hye Sun got the offer to star as Cho In A, the audit head director who has a secret of her own. Gong Myung, on the other hand, got the offer to play the role of No Gi Jun, a former ace of the audit team. He was demoted after handling a workplace misconduct.
The upcoming K-drama will be the next work of director Kang Min Gu, who also created the K-dramas Namib, May It Please the Court, Good Job, and Itaewon Class.
The broadcast channel and airing date of Secret Gratitude are still under discussion.
This will possibly be Shin Hye Sun's second upcoming K-drama. Aside from this rom-com, Shin Hye Sun will also lead the Netflix original thriller mystery series The Art of Sarah, wherein she is a con artist. She will work alongside Lee Jun Hyuk, Kim Jae Won, Jung Da Bin, and Shin Hyun Seung.
Gong Myung, on the other hand, is currently starring in the K-drama Second Shot at Love with Girls Generation's Choi Soo Young, Jo Yoon Hee, Kang Hyung Suk, Kim Sung Ryung, and Kim Sang Ho. He will also star in the soon-to-premiere Netflix original series Mercy for None. He will work with So Ji Sub, Huh Joon Ho, Ahn Kil Kang, Lee Bum Soo, and Choo Young Woo in the K-drama.
