Netflix has released the main poster and trailer for Mercy for None.

Mercy for None follows Nam Gi Jun (So Ji Sub), who, after having left the underworld, returns after 11 years to avenge his brother Nam Gi Seok's (Lee Jun Hyuk) death.

The main poster captures Nam Gi Jun (So Ji Sub) fiercely attacking someone. Blood splattered on his face hints at the ruthless and brutal revenge he comes to take for his brother's death.

The trailer begins with Nam Gi Jun attending the funeral of his younger brother, Nam Gi Seok. He then begins his journey of revenge to uncover the forces behind his brother's death. His signature weapon, a baseball bat, and his ruthless fighting style, where he spares no one, heighten anticipation for the high-octane action scenes.

Lee Ju Woon (Huh Joon Ho) says, "If you cause a problem, you take responsibility," hinting at the rules everyone in the underworld must follow.

The following scenes give a glimpse of the characters involved: Koo Jun Mo (Gong Myung), heir to Bongsan Gang, wears a chilling smile with blood splattered across his face; Lee Geum Son (Choo Young Woo), Lee Ju Woon's son and a prosecutor, reveals his hidden ambition; Koo Bong San (Ahn Kil Kang), head of Bongsan Gang, burns with rage; Choi Seong Cheol (Jo Han Chul), Lee Ju Woon's right-hand man, adds to the tension; and Cha Yeong Do (Cha Seung Won), a mysterious man, realizes that Nam Gi Jun has returned.

It remains to be seen who will emerge as friend or foe to Nam Gi Jun in his cold revenge.

Meanwhile, creators of the webtoon  — Oh Se Hyung and Kim Kyun Tae — from which the Netflix drama is adpated, previewed the show and sent congratulatory messages ahead of the release.

Oh Se Hyung expressed his satisfaction with the adaptation by saying, "It's just as expected, and then some!" and added, "Cheering for the newly reborn Nam Gi Jun."

In Kim Kyun Tae's illustration, Nam Gi Jun and his younger brother Nam Gi Seok are shown smiling together, with Gi Seok's hand resting on Gi Jun's shoulder. He wrote: "I hope you enjoy Netflix's Mercy for None."

Mercy for None will premiere on Netflix on June 6. Watch the trailer here
