Zhang Jing Yi and Zhou Yi Ran challenge the survival rules of the adult world — 'Reborn'

Zhang Jing Yi and Zhou Yi Ran-led Reborn announces June 19 premiere. 

The Chinese drama is adapted from Qiang Yu's novel of the same Chinese name and tells the story of 16-year-old transfer student Qiao Qing Yu, who investigates the cause of her sister's death, and gradually uncovers the truth behind how her sister was "murdered" by the entire village six years ago."Youth is like crashing waves." When the waves of growth continue to surge forward unhesitatingly in the face of life's storms, a future full of endless possibilities is bound to shine brilliantly.

16-year-old Qiao Qing Yu and her family, plagued by rumors and gossip surrounding her sister Qiao Qiao Bai Yu's death, were compelled to move from their hometown of Shunyun to the city of Huanzhou. Determined to restore normality to her family, Qing Yu, aided by her classmate Ming Sheng, embarked on a quest to uncover the real circumstances behind her sister's death. As the truth slowly came to light, Qing Yu was deeply disturbed by the unfair treatment Bai Yu suffered and committed herself to pursuing justice on her behalf.

The series aims to offer audiences a deeply moving message of emotional protection on multiple levels. The story's youths challenge the rules of survival of the world of adults, bringing today's young people a sense of courage and strength.

Zhang Jing Yi plays Qiao Qing Yu, who seeks to uncover the truth behind her sister's death. 

Zhou Yi Ran plays Ming Sheng, Qiao Qing Yu's classmate, who is born into a well-off family. His father is the director of a provincial hospital, and his mother is a dance artist — making him the quintessential "tall, rich, and good-looking" kid. However, the complexities of his family background have made him mature beyond his years. Often appearing cold and rebellious on the outside, he helps Qiao Qing Yu uncover the truth behind her sister's death.  

Wu You plays Qiao Bai Yu, Qiao Qing Yu's sister. 

Tim Huang plays Qiao Jin Rui, the eldest grandson of the Qiao family, and Qiao Qing Yu's cousin. 

Liu Dan plays Li Fang Hao, Qiao Qing Yu's mother. Wang Yi Di plays Wang Mu Mu, Qiao Qing Yu's senior at school, who helps her regain her strength and confidence.
