After the success of his films KPop Demon Hunters and Omniscient Reader: The Prophecy, Ahn Hyo Seop will reportedly star in another project.
On September 3, media outlets reported that Ahn Hyo Seop will lead the upcoming K-drama The Final Table.
This upcoming K-drama will possibly be the second upcoming series of Ahn Hyo Seop. Currently, the actor is filming for his upcoming SBS K-drama Sold Out Again Today with Chae Won Bin, Kim Bum, Go Doo Shim, Jo Woo Ri, and Yoon Jae Chan.
This year, Ahn Hyo Seop focused on debuting on the big screen with the film Omniscient Reader: The Prophecy. He worked alongside Lee Min Ho, Chae Soo Bin, Shin Seung Ho, After School's Nana, and BLACKPINK's Ji Soo.
He also received favorable reviews for his voice acting in the hit Netflix animated film KPop Demon Hunters.
Ahn Hyo Seop last starred in a K-drama in 2023 through the Netflix original series A Time Called You with Jeon Yeo Been, Kang Hoon, Seo Ye Hwa, Lee Min Goo, and Jang Hye Jin.
The upcoming K-drama The Final Table will showcase a competition where top Korean chefs from all over the world gather to prepare a feast of amazing food to select the best Korean chef.
Ahn Hyo Seop got the offer to portray the role of Kang Han. He is a Korean chef who goes by the name Chris K. He left the country during his elementary school days and spent 25 years away from home before returning to the country again as a chef.
While The Final Table is reportedly set to premiere in 2026, its official premiere date, broadcast channel, and streaming platform have not yet been confirmed.
