Ha Ji Won gears up for a high-stakes comeback in 'Climax'

Ha Ji Won plays a top actress at the center of power and desire in Climax.

Climax follows prosecutor Bang Tae Seop (Ju Ji Hoon), who plunges into a cartel of power to rise to the top, and the people around him.

In the K-drama, Curtain Call actress Ha Ji Won plays Chu Sang Ah, a top star who once stood at the peak. She finds herself in crisis after a string of flops, and a murder case from 10 years ago resurfaces. Determined to reclaim her place at the top, Chu Sang Ah makes a decision in the center of a massive cartel that ties the entertainment and political worlds.

The character stills capture Chu Sang Ah's resolute gaze. In one, as she speaks on the phone in front of her vanity mirror, tension hangs in the air; in another, she watches the monitor on set, giving a glimpse of her as a strategist.

Climax premieres on March 16. The K-drama will be streaming on Disney+ (select regions).
