Concrete Market follows survivors post a devastating earthquake that left nothing standing except an apartment complex. The story unfolds when survivors begin to trade for survival in the Hwanggung Market of the complex.
The stills offer a glimpse into corners of Hwanggung Market, the only remaining apartment after the earthquake, while the sharp, tense looks of the characters — each entering into trade with different motives.
First, the mysterious Choi Hee Ro (Lee Jae In), an outsider who secretly infiltrates Hwanggung Market, is seen with a haggard look, creating a subtle sense of tension. In contrast, Kim Tae Jin (Hong Kyung) — who works as a collector within the market and threatens merchants — is shown in a starkly opposing light.
