Actress Jo Yoon Hee has officially picked her first K-drama for 2025. 

On February 4, it was officially confirmed that Jo Yoon Hee will be added to the cast of the upcoming K-drama Extremely Sensible Alcoholic. Her agency King Kong by Starship also confirmed the reports and asked viewers to look forward to her performance. 

Jo Yoon Hee will join Girls Generation's Choi Soo Young, Gong Myung, Kang Hyung Suk, Kim Sung Ryung, and Kim Sang Ho in the upcoming romantic comedy K-drama. 

This will be the first project of the actress for 2025. Last year, she starred in one K-drama and two films. She was part of the series The Escape of the Seven: Resurrection with Uhm Ki Joon, Hwang Jung Eum, Lee Joon, Lee Yoo Bi, Shin Eun Kyung, Yoon Jong Hoon, and more. She also appeared in the films Spring Garden and A Traveler's Needs

Jo Yoon Hee is known for being part of the K-dramas The Escape of the Seven: War for Survival, The Gentlemen of Wolgyesu Tailor Shop, Nine: Nine Times Time Travel, Lie to Me, and more. 

Extremely Sensible Alcoholic will revolve around a woman who grew up in a family full of alcoholics and a successful doctor who went to a rural village to work at Bocheon Health Center.

Director Jang Yoo Jung (Honest Candidate and The Bros) and writer Myung Soo Hyun (Monthly Magazine Home) will work together for the upcoming K-drama.

Jo Yoon Hee will portray the role of Han Hyun Joo, the older sister of Han Geum Ju which will be played by Girls Generation's Choi Soo Young. She takes care of her twin children. In the series, Jo Yoon Hee's character will showcase how mothers relieve their stress from childcare. 

According to reports, the production team of Extremely Sensible Alcoholic is busy with finalizing the casting. After it is finalized, they will now proceed with the filming. 

Extremely Sensible Alcoholic will reportedly premiere on tvN.
