Kim Dong Wook and wife expecting first child

Kim Dong Wook and his wife Stella Kim announced they are expecting their first child.

On November 24, Kim Dong Wook's agency Studio UHOO announced, "Kim Dong Wook and his wife are pregnant and expecting their first baby early next year."

Kim Dong Wook and his now-wife Stella Kim got married in 2023. They held their wedding privately in Seoul, attended by only family and close friends. 

When Kim Dong Wook first announced his marriage plans, his bride was only revealed to be a beautiful non-celebrity. However, when the wedding photos were released, it was then revealed that his wife is none other than Stella Kim, the former SM Entertainment trainee who was part of the original pre-debut lineup for Girls' Generation. Stella Kim currently works as a marketer and writer.

Kim Dong Wook and Stella Kim will welcome their firstborn early next year.

Before Kim Dong Wook becomes a father, he will first greet viewers through the upcoming film The People Upstairs. In the comedy film, he will work alongside top stars Ha Jung Woo, Gong Hyo Jin, and Lee Ha Nee. The film will premiere on December 3. This film is the second one directed by actor Ha Jung Woo in the year. 

Early this year, Kim Dong Wook also led the movie 3 Days with actors Yoo Seung Ho and Seo Jung Yeon. 

Kim Dong Wook is best known for starring in the works Seoul Busters, Delightfully Deceitful, My Perfect Stranger, The King of Pigs, You Are My Spring, The Guest, Coffee Prince, Hijack 1971, Along with the Gods 2: The Last 49 Days, Finding Mr. Destiny, and more.

Meanwhile, there are no reports yet on the next project that Kim Dong Wook will work on after the upcoming film The People Upstairs.
