Kim Seon Ho's agency issues new statement regarding one-man corporation

Kim Seon Ho's agency has released a new statement regarding the tax avoidance/evasion allegations and the one-man corporation alleged to be used for that purpose. 

They acknowledged that although he did receive settlement payments from his former agency through that corporation, he has since stopped operating it, and its closure is underway.

Hello.
This is Fantagio, actor Kim Seon Ho's agency.

We would like to share additional facts and our position regarding Kim Seon Ho's one-man corporation, which has recently been in the news reports.

◾️ Establishment and operation of the corporation
Kim Seon Ho established a corporation in January 2024 for the purpose of his acting activities and theater production. Since the corporation was established in January 2024 up until before his new contract with Fantagio began in February 2025, he received settlement payments for his activities through that corporation.

◾️ Suspension of corporate operations
After recognizing that operating the corporation could give rise to misunderstandings, Kim Seon Ho ceased its operations. For more than the past year, no substantive activities have been conducted through it at all.

◾️ Signing an exclusive contract with Fantagio
From the date Fantagio and Kim Seon Ho entered an exclusive contract in February 2025 up to the present, settlement payments have been paid directly to the actor. We make it clear that, in the contract process between Fantagio and Kim Seon Ho, and regarding his activities, that corporation has no relation whatsoever.

◾️ Corporate closure procedure
As a proactive measure to rectify the way the corporation was run at the time — something that he lacked understanding of at the time — Kim Seon Ho returned everything, including the corporation's card usage records, family wage payments, and the corporate vehicle. 

Concerning the amounts previously settled through the corporation, he has completed the additional payment of personal income tax, in addition to the corporate tax that had already been paid. The procedure to close the corporation is currently underway, and the administrative process is expected to be finalized soon.

Kim Seon Ho is deeply reflecting on the fact that he established the corporation and maintained it for about a year while lacking sufficient understanding of how corporate operation works. He apologizes with his head bowed.
