Lee Jun Ho is in talks to star in a new K-drama as a water deity.

On June 12th, a media outlet reported that Lee Jun Ho has been cast as the male lead in the new drama Embassy for Foreign Monsters in Korea (literal title).

Lee Jun Ho's agency O3 Collective stated, "Lee Jun Ho has received an offer for the new drama Embassy for Foreign Monsters in Korea and is positively reviewing it."

Embassy for Foreign Monsters in Korea is a rom-com about a rookie human diplomat who is accidentally assigned to the Embassy for Foreign Monsters in Korea, an institution responsible for managing monsters living in South Korea, and the ambassador who, unbeknownst to others, is actually a dragon.

Lee Jun Ho has reportedly been offered the role of Cha Yeon, a water deity who governs water. He is the head of the world's most mysterious embassy and a supernatural being — dragon — who has been unable to leave this land for 1,200 years.

The drama is slated to air on tvN in 2027. It will be directed by Bae Hyun Jin (Big Mouth, Alchemy of Souls Season 2: Light and Shadow), while Shin Ha Eun (Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha) will pen the script.

More updates yet to come. Stay tuned!
