Made in Korea is making waves on Disney+.
As of December 29, the Disney+ original series Made in Korea ranks in the Top 5 in Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, and Taiwan.
Made in Korea is set in the 1970s and follows Baek Ki Tae (Hyun Bin), a man driven by ambition for wealth and power, and prosecutor Jang Gun Young (Jung Woo Sung), who risks everything to stop him. The story depicts the lives of monstrous individuals who came to be from this harsh and chaotic era.
Since its release, the show has generated buzz day after day. Moreover, on December 28, it ranked No. 1 in South Korea, Japan, Hong Kong, and Taiwan in the Disney+ TOP 10 TV show category on FlixPatrol, held No. 3 on the global chart, and also ranked No. 3 in Singapore.
Captivating global audiences from its very first episode, the Disney+ original series Made in Korea released episodes 1–2 on December 24. Two episodes will be released on December 31, followed by one episode each on January 7 and January 14, for a total of six episodes.
Meanwhile, Culinary Class Wars Season 2 is dominating Netflix. The Korean variety show topped the ranking chart in the non-English category with 5.5 million views.
According to top10.netflix.com, the show has in the Top 10 in 12 countries, including Bahrain, Hong Kong, Indonesia, South Korea, Kuwait, Malaysia, the Philippines, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Taiwan, and the United Arab Emirates, from December 15-21
Culinary Class Wars is a Netflix original variety show themed around a cooking competition between "White Spoon" chefs and underdog "Black Spoon" cooks.
The K-variety show is streaming on Netflix.
