Disney+ has confirmed the release of Code, an upcoming original series, and unveiled its cast lineup, including Nam Joo Hyuk, Lee E Dam, Kim Eui Sung, and Park Hoon.

Director Yoo Su Min (Weak Hero Class 1, Weak Hero Class 2) will be helming.

Code is a mystery crime thriller that follows a materialistic lawyer, who skirts the line between legality and illegality, being invited to Code, an app that grants its users' wishes.

Nam Joo Hyuk stars as Yoon Tae Joo. A prosecutor investigator turned attorney, Yoon Tae Joo is willing to use any means necessary to succeed and is struggling to become a partner at a top law firm. After receiving an invitation to Code, a mysterious app that grants its users' wishes, he is swept into a vortex of greed. Filled with an insatiable ambition to climb higher, Yoon Tae Joo is expected to bring a completely new side of Nam Joo Hyuk unlike anything audiences have seen from him before.

Lee E Dam plays Park Ji Dam, a prosecutor at the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office who relentlessly pursues Yoon Tae Joo while uncovering the truth behind the cases connected to Code. Having shared a history, Yoon Tae Joo and Park Ji Dam are wary of each other whenever they meet.

Kim Eui Sung joins the series as Jo Cheol Ho, a North Korean defector and hacker. Jo Cheol Ho unexpectedly ends up cooperating with Yoon Tae Joo in his pursuit of Code.

Park Hoon takes on the role of Lim Chang Jae, a veteran detective in the violent crimes unit. Like a brother to Yoon Tae Joo, Lim Chang Jae shares a close bond with him and actively assists in his pursuit of Code.

With its unique premise that every wish granted comes at a price, Code is a mystery crime thriller that delivers a sharp exploration of the raw nature of human greed.

Disney+'s original series Code will premiere worldwide on Disney+ in 2027.
