'Sold Out on You' teases tense dynamics between Ahn Hyo Seop, Kim Bum

Sold Out on You has released a teaser.

Sold Out on You follows perfectionist farmer Matthew Lee, aka Quail (Ahn Hyo Seop), and home shopping show host Dam Ye Jin (Chae Won Bin), who suffers from insomnia. 

The teaser begins with a glimpse of Mathew Lee and Dan Ye Jin's first meeting, which was nothing short of hostile. Following the phrase, "A sell-out-obsessed show host has come to a perfectionist farmer [working] three jobs," the two engage in a fierce staring match, suggesting that their first impressions of each other were completely off from the very start.

Matthew Lee and Dam Ye Jin bicker all the time and even address each other stiffly, saying "excuse me," as if they dislike calling each other by name. Matthew Lee ignores Dam Ye Jin's attempt at a handshake and keeps avoiding her, firmly putting up walls with repeated refusals, leaving her increasingly dumbfounded.

Yet, the two gradually begin to understand each other without even realizing it. Sharing the common trait of always doing their best in whatever is given to them, they come to empathize with one another.

Meanwhile, Seo Eric (Kim Bum), who appears between Matthew Lee and Dam Ye Jin, also draws attention. An executive director at cosmetics company Étoile, he greets Dam Ye Jin first and engages her in a close conversation right in front of Matthew Lee, bringing interesting dynamics. 

Sold Out on You will premiere on April 22. The K-drama will be streaming on Netflix.
