Disney+ K-drama 'Made in Korea Season 2' announces premiere
A Bona Fide Killer has unveiled new stills.
A Bona Fide Killer is a drama about Yoo Bo Na (Kong Hyo Jin), a working mother with the most dangerous job in the world, who struggles to balance her work and family life.
In the drama, Durumi Electronics Sales Team 3 is a client-cleanup unit that maintains a meticulously concealed double life behind the façade of ordinary office workers.
The team consists of genius hacker Ki Young Do (Moo Jin Sung), weapons specialist Bong Tae Min (Kim Nam Hee), poisoning expert Oh Hyun Nam (Ha Yul Ri), medical malpractice specialist Go Young Gap (Heo Jae Ho), and administrative assistant Yang Ye Sol (Kim Ga Hee). Each member brings expertise in a different field as they privately eliminate the most heinous criminals who skillfully evade the law.
Ahead of the premiere, the members of Sales Team 3, shared what they believe are their characters' greatest strengths and the key points viewers should look out for.
Moo Jin Sung first introduced his character, Ki Young Do, as "someone full of respect who always provides close backup for his senior, Kingfisher Yu Bo Na," adding that the character's greatest charms are his cool-headedness and chic demeanor.
He also expressed confidence in the drama, saying, "I think viewers will enjoy it even more if they pay close attention to the client meeting process, the human emotions that emerge throughout those operations, and the teamwork of Sales Team 3."
Also worth watching is the chemistry between Kim Nam Hee and Ha Yul Ri, whose constant bickering adds vitality to the drama.
Kim Nam Hee described his character, Bong Tae Min, as "a geek who spends his life cooped up in a room, but quietly and reliably does his part." He added, "He's a close friend of Bo Na, and through Hyun Nam, his stagnant life begins to change."
Ha Yul Ri, who plays poisoning specialist Oh Hyun Nam, described her character as "chic and decisive."
She added, "She assists with client meetings [missions] using her lethal expertise, and I hope viewers will also look forward to her intriguing relationship with Manager Tae Min."
Heo Jae Ho, who plays Go Young Gap, described his character as "someone driven by a single conviction — to uphold justice in society by punishing evil." He added, "In everyday life, he's a goofy mood-maker, but during client meetings, his intense gaze and unwavering focus become his biggest charm."
Kim Ga Hee, who plays paperwork expert Yang Ye Sol, introduced her character as "a clever woman who even devises the scenarios for important meetings." She added, "Please keep an eye on how she maintains balance and acts as a lubricant among the highly individualistic team members with her unique kindness."
A Bona Fide Killer will premiere July 31.
