Chen Du Ling and Qu Chu Xiao cast in modern C-drama 'Back To Life'
On July 1, Disney+ announced, "The new original series A Shop for Killers Season 2 has been confirmed to premiere on July 22." Along with the announcement, the platform unveiled the first stills of Jin Man.
A Shop for Killers follows Ji An (Kim Hye Joon), who, after enduring a grueling succession, has become the new head of the shopping mall. Reunited with her uncle Jin Man (Lee Dong Wook), she launches a counterattack against Babylon.
Season 2 will finally unveil the hidden story behind Jin Man, the uncle believed to be dead, and the path he takes after his return. The newly released stills further pique curiosity, showing Jin Man preparing a counterattack alongside the Murthehelp squad while orchestrating a much larger plan.
Lee Dong Wook shared his thoughts, saying, "It's an honor in itself to be able to return with Season 2, and I'm happy to have the chance to portray Jin Man once again."

He continued, "Jin Man is a character who rarely experiences emotional upheaval and doesn't openly express his feelings. However, in this season, you'll get to see moments where he does reveal his emotions."
Director Lee Kwon said, "In Season 2, Jin Man goes through many hardships and painful experiences, so there will be far more scenes in which he expresses his emotions than before."

The upgraded action sequences are another major highlight. Action director Jeon Jae Hyung had high praise for Lee Dong Wook, calling him "already a complete action actor." He added, "Season 2 features action sequences set in entirely new settings that audiences haven't seen before. From fight scenes in darkness to wire-action sequences, Lee Dong Wook underwent extensive training so he could perform everything himself without using a stunt double."

Lee Dong Wook also expressed confidence, saying, "The action has become even more spectacular. I prepared with the determination not to disappoint [viewers]."
A Shop for Killers Season 2 will premiere with Episodes 1 and 2 on July 22, with two new episodes released every Wednesday thereafter.
