Actress Go Joon Hee has announced a temporary hiatus.

Go Joon Hee recently announced on her YouTube channel, "Go Jun Hee GO," that she is taking a hiatus for the summer. She plans to return with more "fresh and fun" content after her break.

Along with the announcement, she uploaded a summer photo captioned, "hot weather even if it's just there," which seems to show how the heat has been affecting her daily life.

This year, actress Go Joon Hee launched her own YouTube channel, where she shares glimpses into her daily life with fans. She also used the platform as an opportunity to address and clear up the issues that led to her long break from the industry.

In 2019, actress Go Joon Hee's name was unfairly linked to the "Burning Sun" scandal. Rumors began circulating after a photo of her with BIGBANG's Seungri was shared online, leading many to speculate that she was one of the actresses involved. Despite her attempts to speak out, her statements were often edited or cut from broadcasts.

Years later, Go Joon Hee finally had the chance to fully address the issue on the YouTube channel Studio Handmade, hosted by Jang Sung Kyu. During the interview, she clarified that she had no connection to the scandal, had never been to the "Burning Sun" club, and was unsure why her name was ever brought into the controversy.

Go Joon Hee's last K-drama project was the 2019 series Possessed with Song Sae Byuk, Yeon Jung Hoon, Jo Han Sun, Lee Won Jong, and Park Jin U. She has not starred in any new dramas or films after this. Her projects after Possessed were reportedly canceled because of her being unfairly linked to the "Burning Sun" scandal.

Go Joon Hee made her acting debut in 2003. She is best known for starring in the K-dramas Untouchable, She Was Pretty, Queen of Ambition, The Chaser, The Slave Hunters, General Hospital Season 2, Breathless, and more.
