'My Royal Nemesis' cast share final remarks ahead of finale

Choo Young Woo will be seen on the big screen in Even if This Love Disappears from the World Tonight. Having emerged as a rising actor through The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call, he marked his name among the most prominent rising stars.
Actor Choo Young Woo sat for an interview for Even If This Love Disappears from the World Tonight. He commenced by saying, "Since it’s my first (mainstream) film, I'm extremely nervous and overwhelmed," adding, "I want to make another movie."
The movie follows Seo Yun (Shin Shi Ah), who loses her memories every single day, and Jae Won (Choo Young Woo), who fills in her memories for her each time.
Talking about his physical transformation, he said, "I did lose (13 kg), but it didn't really show that much. And what I realized while losing weight was that I'm not naturally skinny, so even if I lose weight, I don't end up looking skinny," he shared candidly. "I have a solid frame, and that was a bit disappointing."
Having had a busy year, when asked whether he feels his rising popularity, Choo said honestly, "This year, thankfully, I filled one entire side of my display cabinet with awards. It feels like a dream," adding, "I nicely have them on display at home, and I feel good whenever I look at them, and it reminds me to keep working hard and puts me in a good mood."
He went on to explain, "I think it's because the characters I played had charm," saying, "Rather than me having some extraordinary charm as an actor, I think it's more that the projects and the characters were good."
Now regarded as the top casting choice for melodrama leads, he said, "Fans find both me and the characters I play cute," adding, "And someone once told me they like that I don't come across as awkward. I remember a comment saying that the way I look and speak seems very natural, and hearing opinions like that makes me try even more to lean into it."
Choo Young Woo also shared that he has given up alcohol and coffee. He said, "My body has been going through ups and downs, so it's been three months since I stopped drinking alcohol, and it's also been three months since I switched to decaf coffee," adding with a laugh, "I wasn't getting enough sleep, and I thought, 'At this rate, I might die,' so I figured it would be better to at least cut out what was keeping me from sleeping. After doing that, I could sleep well at night."
On working intensely for a full year, the actor commented, "I had so many things going on that I sometimes think, 'Has it really only been a year?'" adding, "I've grown as an actor, but what I really like about my current self is that I'm not focusing on trivial things and am slowly learning what's truly important. I also feel like I'm taking better care of the people around me, so I like who I am right now."
He continued, "These days, I really try to live kindly, and I hardly go outside at all," adding, "It happened naturally, and my friends come over to my place. Lately, I've gotten into cooking. I make 3–4 servings and give them to friends, or pack lunchboxes and host tasting sessions for the staff."
