DEX grows up trained as a weapon in 'The Defects'

Kim Jin Young, aka DEX, is coming to the small screen with The Defects.

The Defects follows the desperate survival struggle and revenge of children who were abandoned by their foster parents and narrowly survived the brink of death.

DEX comes to play Jung Hyeon, a human weapon raised in the shadows by Kim Se Hui (Yeom Jung Ah) and the de facto operator of an illegal adoption trafficking ring. Jung is a cold, ruthless character who carries out missions with absolute obedience to Se Hui's orders. 

The stills offer a glimpse of the character — emotionless and menacing. It is reported that DEX not only pulled off the action scenes but also deftly portrayed the character's emotional undercurrents.

The production team shared, "Actor Kim Jin Young immersed himself fully in the role of Jung Hyeon, demonstrating remarkable focus. His strong presence will bring viewers fresh exuberance and a distinctive sense of excitement, so please look forward to his [performance]."
