Kang Hoon to return to Running Man after a year!

Actor Kang Hoon is reuniting with other Running Man members after a year.

Just recently, it was officially confirmed that Running Man's first rental member, Kang Hoon, is returning to the program for the first time in a long time.

SBS revealed Kang Hoon’s surprise visit to the Running Man set, where the cast playfully expressed distress over his unexpected appearance.

During the filming, Kang Hoon performed an acrostic poem for Ji Ye Eun, with whom he shared a "love line," and Choi Daniel, who had filled in for him on the program.

Running Man is currently being led by Yoo Jae Suk, Ji Suk Jin, Kim Jong Kook, Ha Ha, Song Ji Hyo, Yang Se Chan, Ji Ye Eun, and Choi Daniel.

 Kang Hoon's reunion with the Running Man members will be revealed on December 12 at 6:10 PM KST. 

For next year, Kang Hoon will be busy again with two K-dramas. 

He will lead the upcoming romantic comedy series Asura Balbalta with Jo Hyun Chul, Lee Yi Dam, Yoon Ga Yi, and Jin Seo Jin. He will also star in another upcoming tvN K-drama, Favorite Employee, alongside Kim Hye Joon, Cha Woo Min, and ITZY's Shin Yu Na. 

In May 2024, Kang Hoon was revealed to be the temporary member of Running Man after the departure of Jeon So Min. However, the actor was unable to join in many episodes as he was busy with his K-dramas, such as Dear Hyeri, Our Movie, and Hunter with a Scalpel. 

Kang Hoon is best known for being part of the K-dramas The Secret Romantic Guesthouse, Little Women, Twenty-Five Twenty-One, The Red Sleeve, You Are My Spring, Rookie Historian Goo Hae Ryung, Let Me Introduce Her, Flower Ever After, and more.
