Kim Ji Hoon graces 'Dear X' with a special appearance

Kim Ji Hoon makes a special appearance in Dear X.

Dear X tells the story of Baek Ah Jin (Kim You Jung), a woman who, having endured domestic violence in childhood, wears a mask to hide her emotions and escape a hellish life, and climbs to the top by manipulating people.  

Adding to the anticipation is the lineup of rising stars — Kim You Jung, Kim Young Dae, Kim Do Hoon, and Lee Yeol Eum. Joining them in a guest role is Kim Ji Hoon, known for his versatility across genres.

Kim Ji Hoon takes on the role of Choi Jung Ho, a former professional baseball player turned café owner. Choi Jung Ho is a kind man with a strong sense of justice and, therefore, is the first adult figure Baek Ah Jin encounters in her life. They meet when Baek Ah Jin starts working part-time at his café after graduating high school. 

Kim Ji Hoon shared his thoughts, saying, "Although it was a short shoot, I had a really enjoyable time. On set, I talked a lot with director Lee Eung Bok as we worked to create a realistic character. Since my character appears early in the story, I hope it helps viewers become immersed in the drama," and added, "I especially expect that actress Kim You Jung's portrayal of Baek Ah Jin will deliver a huge impact."

Dear X is set to premiere this November. The K-drama is coming on HBO Max.
