Kang Dong Won, Park Ji Hyun, Um Tae Goo, Oh Jung Se's 'Wild Sing' surpasses 1 million moviegoers
The Husband has unveiled new stills featuring Namkoong Min.
The Husband tells the story of Kang Tae Joo (Namkoong Min), who becomes locked in a life-or-death struggle against a criminal in order to save his wife, who is kidnapped just before their divorce.
Namkoong Min takes on the role of Kang Tae Joo, a neurosurgeon whose marriage has reached the brink of divorce. As a catastrophe strikes, he embarks on a perilous mission to save his kidnapped wife.
In the stills, Kang Tae Joo is seen leaning out of a building window, wearing a resolute gaze, while in another moment, he clutches his phone amid extreme tension, unable to conceal his anxiety. However, the vibe takes a shocking turn when Kang Tae Joo is later discovered lying collapsed on the ground, unconscious. This raises questions about what ultimately caused him to lose consciousness and what outcome his desperate, life-or-death pursuit will bring.

Speaking about the action scenes in The Husband, Namkoong Min said, "The action in this project is closer to conveying a sense of desperation rather than being flashy. Since Kang Tae Joo isn't someone who fights professionally but an ordinary doctor, I spent a lot of time thinking about how a real person [in his circumstances] would actually move if faced with this kind of situation."

He continued, "Because of that, I think I actually tried not to make the action look too polished. Even in the chase scenes and physical fights, I focused less on making it seem like he could handle everything perfectly and more on capturing a sense of urgency and vulnerability."
The Husband is coming July 4. The K-drama will be streaming on Disney+ (select regions).
