Zhou Ye and Hu Xian Xu's fantasy healing drama commences filming
Netflix's variety show Physical: Asia will crown the winning nation today (November 18).
Since its premiere on October 28, Physical: Asia has showcased each country's relentless determination, diverse strategies, and teamwork, amplifying the excitement of this international competition. Unpredictable, thrilling matches delivered catharsis, and the sportsmanship brought touching emotional moments.
Currently, half of the eight countries (four nations) remain in the competition. Curiosity rises over who will claim the final victory: South Korea, fielding its top athletes in a bold power play; Japan, which secured a spot in the fifth quest early with meticulous strategy and outstanding skill; Mongolia, surviving each quest with relentless momentum; or Australia, a strong contender with unmatched physical prowess.

In the previous episodes, Japan took first place in the fourth quest, the Battle Rope Relay, overtaking Australia, and advanced to the fifth quest. Japan had the early victory, and the fourth quest's deathmatch involved rotating a 1,200 kg pillar. This extreme quest requires participants to spin a heavy pole 100 times, with the last-placed nation being eliminated.
The final showdown promises three intense games, with only the strongest nations remaining. As both countries are strong teams that have survived until the end, the outcome is expected to hinge on mental strength, strategy, and teamwork. This intense battle to determine the nation with the most perfect physicality is expected to keep viewers glued to the screen every moment.
Physical: Asia recorded 3.6 million views from November 3 to November 9 and has been ranked 3rd in the global TOP 10 TV shows (non-English) category for two consecutive weeks. While taking first place in four countries, it also appeared in the TOP 10 lists of 26 countries worldwide — including South Korea, Australia, the Philippines, Türkiye, Finland, and the United Arab Emirates.
Anticipation is rising over which nation will win the crown of the best physicality. Episodes 10–12 (the final episodes) of Physical: Asia will be available today, exclusively on Netflix.
