Dilraba Dilmurat's management company denies contract termination rumors
The production team behind The Roundup 5 issued a notice urging people to be especially cautious about impersonation scams.
On March 5, the film's production team released an official statement stating, "We have recently received reports of cases in which [individuals] impersonate members of the production team and approach people under the pretext of actor auditions and casting."
They added, "While the production team may directly contact actors who do not have an agency, we always state our affiliation and name, and if requested, we verify our identity with a business card or other means. If someone refuses to verify their identity or tries to steer the conversation to anonymous channels only (such as open chat rooms), please exercise extreme caution." They also stressed that "no money is ever requested for any reason during the casting process for The Roundup 5."
They also said, "We do not request one-on-one meetings in inappropriate locations outside of our office," and added that they "plan to take strong legal action against impersonation and fraudulent acts."

The Roundup series is one of the most successful action-crime film franchises in South Korea. Headlined by Ma Dong Seok (also known as Don Lee), the films follow the tough, charismatic detective Ma Seok Do, who uses both his fists and keen instincts to take down powerful criminal organizations.
The franchise has collectively surpassed 40 million admissions, establishing itself as one of Korea's most beloved film series. The Roundup 5 is aiming for a 2027 release. Kim Jae Yeong has been confirmed to star as the villain in the upcoming installment, joining the lineup of The Roundup villains Yoon Kye Sang, Son Suk Ku, Lee Jun Hyuk, and Kim Mu Yeol.

The release date and full cast are yet to be disclosed. Stay tuned for more updates!
