JTBC unveils episode 1 preview of A Hundred Memories just days ahead of its premiere.

A Hundred Memories is a youth melodrama set in the 1980s, depicting the shining friendship of two friends — Ko Yeong Rye (Kim Da Mi) and Seo Jong Hui (Shin Ye Eun) — who, in a tough era, work as bus attendants to make a living.

The teaser begins with Yeong Rye's morning, as she applies all her force into cramming as many passengers as possible onto bus no. 100 and then shouts, "All right!" — a model conductress who works diligently from the early morning hours.

Jong Hui, upon hearing that "to be a bus conductress, your voice has to sound like you've swallowed a train whistle," immediately belts out a booming "If no one's getting off, all right!" — thus joining as a rookie conductress. She is a bold woman who doesn't cower even in the face of the blatant hazing and demanding errands from dormitory dictator Kwon Hae Ja (Lee Min Ji).

Yeong Rye and Jong Hui build such a special friendship that they seem inseparable. Apart from the duo's shenanigans, another highlight of the video is the lively and chaotic dormitory life of the conductresses — an experience that actresses Kim Da Mi and Shin Ye Eun themselves described as their most memorable moments. The teaser also hints at a suspicious incident: conductresses at the dormitory suffer stomachaches after they eat a late-night snack. Since Yeong Rye and Jong Hui are the only ones unaffected, suspicion falls on Jong Hui, who is suspected of having worked under Hae Ja's order, and she ends up in a dangerous situation where she gets grabbed by her hair. To top it off, at the end of the video, Yeong Rye urgently calls out to Jong Hui as if she has realized something.

A Hundred Memories will premiere on September 13. The K-drama will be streaming on Viki. Watch the teaser.
