Yeo Jin Goo announces enlistment plans

Yeo Jin Goo is expected to enlist in the military within the year.

Just recently, Yeo Jin Goo personally announced that he will begin his mandatory military service after his Taipei fan meeting. The actor revealed the news through a handwritten letter at the end of the show.

On October 12, Yeo Jin Goo held his 20th-anniversary fan meeting in Taipei. At the end of the show, the actor revealed a handwritten letter announcing his upcoming enlistment. Yeo Jin Goo will begin his military service after he concludes his fan meeting tour. On November 1, Yeo Jin Goo is set to meet his fans at the fan meeting in Seoul.

Here's the translation of Yeo Jin Goo's handwritten letter: 

Dear fans, hello, this is Yeo Jin Goo. 

While writing this letter, my heart is filled with gratitude, excitement, and also, regret.

The time is approaching for me to step away from your side and gain new experiences.

Every moment spent meeting your faces, making eye contact, and laughing together during this final Asian tour before my enlistment will be a truly precious memory!

Looking back at my career, my fans are the foundation who have supported me every step of the way, from the start until today.

Thanks to your warm love and support, I was able to find great comfort and passion, allowing me to continue without getting tired.

I believe that each and every one of your precious hearts came together to make me who I am today. I am so grateful that I cannot fully express my sincere appreciation.

During this time away from you, I will do my best to return as a stronger and more mature person!

I promise that I will return and stand in front of you with a healthier mind and body, and with deeper acting skills. I hope everyone will stay healthy, eat well, and be happy.

He also embarked on his Asia fan meeting tour to celebrate his 20th anniversary this year.
